I write about our garden, gardening and the great outdoors whether it’s a local walk around Monton, Salford or # Manchester, coastal, hills or adventures on holiday in the UK, Europe and Australia.
I’m also out and about in the city too.

I took up crafting again after a break of 20 years and became a member of the Women’s Institute in Ancoats in Manchester.  Also, I live with osteoarthritis and daily pain so I support my wellbeing using mindfulness and yoga.

My Background

I have been blogging since February 2015, but have nearly 20 years writing content for websites and social media, often on health-related topics.  I have a Masters in Strategic Marketing and Management from Manchester Metropolitan University (2006), CAM Foundation Marketing Communications Diploma.

Events

Also, I have extensive experience with organising large scale workshops and events.  In 2018, I worked with Dunham Massey National Trust promoting their Christmas light trail, Burnley Social (via Viva PR) promoting Burnley and some local yoga studios in Manchester.

Projects

In 2019 and 2020, I am working with a Bolton creative arts charity on all aspects of marketing and communications refreshing their website, social media and volunteer and supporter engagement newsletters,

Photography

I take flower, plants and still life photography, often using a Lensbaby trio 28 lens which gives unusual effects.  My Header photos are taken with Lensbaby Trio 28.
