I’ve always loved taking photographs, ever since I was a child. It was rolls of film then, but I embraced digital. Most of the photos on this blog have been taken by me over the last five or six years, using digital cameras or mobile phones – so there’s a difference with pixel quality.
I’ve increasingly developed a liking for macro shots, flower and outdoor photography from different perspectives. I am also learning to use my Lensbaby Trio 28 lens – which has three settings – sweet, twist and velvet – search Trio 28 to find these shots
The cameras I use are:
Digital SLR: Samsung NX3000
Olympus with Lensbaby Trio28 – sweet, twist and velvet effects
Mobiles: Samsung A5 (2018), Samsung Galaxy S
Tablet: Sony Z3 Compact
The Lens’ I use:
My husband gave me a Lensbaby Trio 28 for my birthday. I use it on his spare Olympus OM-D camera as it doesn’t fit my Samsung.
I am getting the hang of the lens features:
The tech I use:
Tripod: Joby 3kg Gollila – I wrap it around trees, garden structures, lampposts, etc.
Photography Goals for 2018/19:
One of my goals for 2018 is taking some photography courses and getting some extra kit to make my life easier – inc a small tripod.
I’ll be looking out for some photography challenges too.
Where I have used photographs taken by other people (or on behalf of organisations), I have obtained permission and state this by the photograph. If you think I’ve used a photograph you took, without credit, please get in touch.
