Im on a week long military history tour with my Mum in Belgium for 200th anniversary of Battle of Waterloo – it’s very detailed military strategy and battlesites. We are also watching the re-enactment twice (!). My mum is having a great time. I’m much more interested in social and economic history but I’ve found out some interesting stories too.
There are some lovely floral displays – this one is in the garden at Wellington’s headquarters in the town of Waterloo – about 4 miles north of the actual battle site.
